What is the Beautiful Baby Competition?
The Beautiful Baby Competition is a monthly competition that gives you a chance to show the world your beautiful baby and win £100 in vouchers to spend with us.
Every month we select a shortlist of photos from our entrants and post them on the Rock a Buy Baby website. The baby's photo which receives the most "votes" is the monthly winner of the Beautiful Baby Competition and wins £100 in vouchers to spend with us.
How do I enter my baby into the Beautiful Baby Competition?
To enter, email a photo of your Beautiful Baby to beautifulbaby@sit-up.tv. Please include your full name, address and telephone number as well as your baby's full name and age. You can enter any baby from 0-3 years of age.
By entering the Beautiful Baby Competition you consent to sit-up channels using your submitted photo on our websites and for other promotional material at our discretion. You are also agreeing to allow your baby's photo to be open to public voting.
Are there any other benefits to entering the Beautiful Baby Competition?
By entering the Beautiful Baby Competition your email address will be added to the Rock a Buy Baby and price-drop tv email newsletter lists so you'll be the first to know about special events, offers, competitions and promotions.
Can I enter a baby which is not mine or not my close relative?
No, sorry. You must be a parent/guardian or close relative (with permission of the parent/guardian) to enter a baby in the Beautiful Baby Competition.
What type of baby photo can I use to enter?
Your baby's photo must be a .jpg image no larger than 500KB in size. We will accept either a professional photo or one of your own taking which is in a digital format. We will not accept full or partial nude shots of babies for the Beautiful Baby Competition, although photos revealing bare head and shoulders only may be accepted at our absolute discretion.
When can I enter?
You can enter at any time. Babies entered in one month will be eligible for voting the following month. So, if you email your baby's photo in May, check back in June to see if they have made the shortlist.
When can I vote?
You can vote for your favourite Beautiful Baby from the time we post the shortlist of entrants on to our Gallery page, which is around the 6th of every month, until midnight on the last day of the month.
How can I vote?
Once registered for the Beautiful Baby Competition you will be able to click on your favourite baby's photo and then the "Vote for Me" button to cast your vote for that baby to win.
How many times can I vote?
sit-up takes fair voting for the Beautiful Baby Competition very seriously! You can only vote once in each monthly Beautiful Baby Competition. Please ensure that each vote your baby receives is from a unique person from a permanent email address where we can contact voters at any time to confirm voting validity. Every month we review votes and email addresses personally to ensure winners adhere to the "one person - one vote" rule. We look for unusual voting patterns, automatically generated email names, temporary email addresses and any other voting behaviour we believe to be suspicious. To validate votes we email a sample of voters and give them 24 hours to respond. Votes from non-responsive voters may not be counted. sit-up Ltd has the right to remove any baby from the competition where we believe that voting does not adhere to the "one person - one vote" rule (this includes, without limitation, where duplicate, fraudulent and/or non-responsive emails are discovered voting for the same baby). To increase your baby's votes you can send the option to vote to as many different friends and family as you like. Using your Facebook, MySpace and Bebo page is a great way to get votes for your baby.
Why do I need to register in order to vote?
In order to vote you need to register for the Beautiful Baby Competition. Registering is important to ensure that voting is fair and that you have read and agree with our Terms & Conditions. Each vote must be assigned to a unique person from a permanent email address where we can contact voters at any time to confirm voting validity. By registering, your email address will be added to the Rock a Buy Baby and price-drop tv email newsletter lists which announce special events, offers, competitions and promotions. From time to time we may share your email address with other carefully selected third parties. For further details, please read our privacy policy. By registering for the Rock a Buy Baby website you are not registered for the sit-up television shopping channels or online stores.
What is a "public vote"?
Public vote means that anyone registered for the Beautiful Baby Competition can vote for any baby.
How is a Beautiful Baby Competition winner chosen?
Winning the Beautiful Baby Competition is in your hands! The baby with the most votes wins, it's that simple. Remember, we strictly enforce a one person - one vote rule so please ensure that each vote your baby receives is from a unique person from a permanent email address where we can contact voters at any time to confirm voting validity. In order for your baby to stand a chance of winning, you need tell as many of your friends and family as possible by clicking on the "Tell a Friend" link. Using your Facebook, MySpace and Bebo page is also a great way to get votes for your baby. Your friends and family will need to vote for your baby to increase his or her number of votes.
How can I tell my friends and family to vote for my baby?
Simply click on the "Tell a Friend" link to send your baby's "Vote for Me" request email to friends and family. Or, post a link on your Facebook, MySpace and Bebo page to you baby's voting page.
I've entered but my baby's photo is not in the Beautiful Baby Competition?
We receive a high number of entrants to the Beautiful Baby Competition every month. We therefore have to narrow the selection to a monthly shortlist of 25 Beautiful Baby entrants.
How many times can I enter?
You can enter your baby's photo once a month for as many months as you would like. If your baby has not been included in the Beautiful Baby Competition this time, please enter your baby's photo again next month.
How do I claim my £100 in vouchers if my baby wins?
We will contact you within 30 days of winning the Beautiful Baby Competition using the telephone number, email address or home address you specified in your email entry to us so you can claim your prize.
Where and when can I use my £100 in vouchers if my baby wins?
After we have allocated your vouchers to your account, you can use them towards purchases with any of sit-up channels, namely price-drop tv, bid tv or speed auction tv or our websites.
What if I do not have an account already set up with your channels?
We will set one up for you and allocate your vouchers to your account so you can spend your vouchers.
